Michelle
has been baking for over ten years now. Her love of baking grew
from a childhood hobby to a full-time cake and pastry business.
She is a self-taught cake artist, but has picked up professional
baking and pastry techniques through time spent in San Francisco.
She studied under Traci Des Jardins of Jardiniere, where she
worked as a pastry cook. She also spent time refining her skills
from working in the catering department of the Renaissance
Stanford Court Hotel and giving cooking classes at Williams
Sonoma.
Michelle offers an array of cake flavors and fillings, from
Tiramisu to Tres Leches to Chocolate Amaretto. She uses a variety
of decorations to achieve the 'look' that each client has in mind,
such as gumpaste flowers, fondant, chocolate, buttercream and
more.
Michelle offers tastings for weddings where the client can choose
up to four flavors for her consultation. Here she can discuss how
she envisions her cake and what she would like to incorporate into
the design.
Michelle
does all of the decorating and most of the baking to ensure a high
quality product. She uses fresh ingredients like real butter,
seasonal fruits and top quality chocolate to create fine cakes and
pastries.
Michelle is truly passionate about what she does and hopes to
share that with you.
